Samsung Chromebook Channel Solution Specialist – Connection

Marketstar is looking for a Channel Solution Specialist to increase Samsung’s Chromebook market share at Connection in the US by developing and maintaining effective relationships, creating product awareness and driving new sales activity across the Connection-G sales organizations nationwide.

What will you do?
• Educate and partner with Connections Sellers; drive relationships and create Samsung Chromebook awareness among the Connection sales teams and support staff. Bring together the necessary team members internally and externally for support in closing Chromebook deals
• Schedule meetings, regular site visits, floor walks and 1:1’s with Sellers at the various Connection offices throughout the US; maintain a strong appointment calendar on a weekly basis
• Generate new sales leads weekly and maintain an opportunity/revenue pipeline; assist and help the appropriate Samsung, Marketstar and Connection Sellers to close deals
• Make joint prospecting/sales calls with Connection Sellers when needed
• Gather intelligence and submit timely weekly reports on the state of business, closed wins, new leads, sales engagement and activities
• Organize content and provide necessary training and support to Connection Sellers on Samsung Chromebook products, promotions and programs etc.
• Conduct partner floor days, promotions, lunch and learns, and other events either alone, with the Connection Samsung Mobility or IT Solutions Channel Teams or with other partners that can help drive Samsung Chromebook opportunities
• Attend and present at local or regional events when necessary
• Create and maintain effective partner relationships within Connection, across Samsung and our partner ecosystem (i.e. Google, Higher Ground, Otter Products, StarTech etc.)
• Maintain effective communication with immediate Manager, rest of the Samsung Marketstar inside sales team, other Connection Samsung Channel Teams (Mobility and IT Solutions) along with the Samsung Chromebook Lead

Desired Attributes for success:
• Candidate must be located at the Connection Office Headquarters in Merrimack, New Hampshire with the ability to travel once or twice monthly to the other Connection Satellite offices throughout the US.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Have hands on experience, working knowledge and/or current relationships at Connection or having supported Connection in some capacity.
• Two or more years’ experience selling or educating others on a product or solution
• Ability to conduct effective presentations and training
• Experience in an IT or channel sales environment
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office and
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
