Salesforce Administrator

Marketstar is looking for a Salesforce Administrator in Ogden, Utah.  Strong preference for someone who will work in-office in Ogden, Utah.   The Salesforce Administrator will be involved with the ongoing development of MarketStar’s sales tech stack. A successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and driving adoption of Salesforce and related applications. The Salesforce Administrator will work closely with functional leaders, organizational units and clients to identify, develop and deploy software and systems to support new business processes in the Direct, Partner Channel and internal organizations. This role is part team lead and mentor, part technical consultant, part administrator and part sales operations. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of multiple Salesforce orgs and sales tools.

What will you do?
• Collaborate with management on strategy and direction of tools and operations
• Lead and mentor Junior Salesforce Administrators
• Serve as primary system administrator for Salesforce (including Marketstar and Client owned instances)
• Handle all administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
• Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
• Manage data feeds, data imports, and other integrations
• Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.
• Assist in training of new users, and grow the CRM and Sales Tool skill set across the organization
• Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors, client services and the client
• Work independently with members of the user community to define, document, develop, and implement the requirements
• Report on team performance metrics
• Report on and analyze application metrics
• Vendor management

Desired attributes for success:
• Salesforce Admin (ADM201) certified
• 2 or more years of experience using Salesforce
• Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce administration, best practices and functionality
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
• Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
• Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
• Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
• Ability to assess the impact of new requirements and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
• Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
• Understanding of relational databases
• A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
• Experience with sales acceleration tools (, SalesLoft)
