 Sales Manager 

MarketStar currently has an opportunity available in the Ogden office for a Sales Manager. The Sales Manager will be responsible for supporting, coaching, and leading Inside Channel Account Managers (ICAM) and Deal Registration Specialists. This manager is responsible for a sales quota, execution as well as meeting deal registration deliverables and will report directly to the Account Executive.

What will you do?
• Ensure assigned inside team exceed client sales quotas and other associated goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis 
• Maximize productivity of ICAMs through leadership, coaching, mentoring and leveraging internal resources
• Utilize activity data and performance metrics to capture of ICAM activity in order to track performance
• Build and maintain relationships with key client contacts including field sales leaders and become the go-to expert on inside sales
• Conduct business account reviews, both internally and externally
• Provide accurate and timely management reports
• Offer program feedback and strategic recommendations for additional program strategies, tactics, revisions and implementations based on observations of the programs’ people, processes, and product
• Motivate sales representatives to succeed, manage program day-to-day activities, training, logistics and other activities as required
• Monitor the team’s performance and identify areas of focus
• Continue to develop and implement new hire and ongoing rep training 

Desired attributes for success: 
• 3 or more years knowledge and experience in B2B channels – SMB focus and IT preferred
• Leadership/management experience preferred
• Adaptive management style and be able to work at micro and macro levels
• Ability to motivate as well as hold employees accountable to performance standards
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Computer experience/knowledge required. Knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office required
• Familiarity with CRM’s, SalesForce preferred
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple issues simultaneously
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work related experience Computer experience/knowledge required. Knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office required
• Must have ability to handle multiple issues simultaneously
• Must have an adaptive management style and be able to work at micro and macro levels
