Account Manager – HPE 

MarketStar currently has an opportunity available for an Account Manager in Austin Texas

What will you do?
• Consult with partners and end-user customers to develop and recommend appropriate solutions
• Create and communicate regular product and program updates to HPE sales floor and partner community
• Collaborate with HPE and sales team on area and reseller account planning
• Understand competitive landscape and provide monthly feedback, market Client and competitive insight to HPE Options management and client sales team.
• Drive demand generation activities.  Plan, track, and measure the success of these activities based on availability of funding
• Drive resolution on issues and escalations for HPE resellers
• Provide expertise to close Client and HPE Options business including HPE ProLiant Servers, ISS Options opportunities
• Align and coordinate HPE ProLiant and Server Options resources with Client Server resources to meet customer/reseller needs
• Participate in HPE and partner trainings, events, floor days, tradeshows, as needed
• Act as point of contact and provide a go-to resource for the NSP and Distribution sales reps both inside and field based
• Drive sales of the Client and HPE ISS OPTIONS products
• Prepare and present complex solutions to client partners
• Quickly respond to partner request for technical information on the Client and HPE ISS OPTIONS
• Communicate and train reps and partners on the benefits of Client and HPE ISS OPTIONS products vs. competition
• Manage and advance deals through the stages of the sales cycle
• Mine existing install base along with prospecting for new partner opportunities

Desired attributes for success:
• 4 or more years of experience in technology related work, including roles in pre-sales and/or customer-facing consultation
• Strong customer facing and relationship building skills  
• Ability to see and present "the big picture" and offer solutions to make it better  
• Must be effective in working both independently and in a team setting  
• Enthusiastic, self-starter with a charismatic personality
